Dynaflex Effect

Support that follows you around

Casual seating is characterised by extreme sitting positions and changes in posture. These positions allow the user to kick back and take a break from the screen, perform creative tasks, or simply turn to chat with a colleague.

Dynaflex does not hinder the user from doing this, but supports them. Psychologically, Dynaflex actively encourages users to move and work in the way they feel most comfortable, creating a sense of freedom from the traditional constraints of the office.

Flex back
Pressure balance seat

Flexible rather than rigid.

The Dynaflex seat frame offers greater torsion in the frame than the standard office chair. As the user turns, the Flex back bends with their torso, and the seat twists in response. This synchronous movement maintains constant contact between the user and the chair and always brings them back to the original sitting position.

The Flex back allows the user to lean right over to the side to reach storage, pick up a bag, or just stretch, all the while twisting inline to offer optimum support .

Maintaining the centre of gravity.

The ideal way to carry any weight is to keep it inline with your centre of gravity. This causes the least possible strain to the individual.

As a user shifts their weight to the side, Dynaflex compensates to keep their centre of gravity perpendicular. This is performed through viscoelastic seat cushions (4) which contain dual air chambers, one on each side (5). Beneath there is a pivot balance (1) with single weight suspension (2), as well as a split load-bearing base plate (3).

The Dynaflex Effect is a unique symbiosis between seat, back rest and armrests.
These elements surround the user, maintaining constant contact with their back and bottom, and bringing them back to the original seating position.
